Friendship.

Dear fellow millennials,

Yes yes yes, the election is very important, we all have our separate opinions about the race and who should win. But there's something very very wrong here.

Many of you feel that opinions are right or wrong. You judge based off of opinions, make up these insane and often incorrect stereotypes about the people who hold these opinions. These often lead to fights, judging, and friendships lost.

Sometimes, you just get upset that they hold a different opinion and without warning you stop being their friend.

Stop. Why are you doing this? A friendship lasts a lifetime, this is only two more weeks. Are you sure you want to lose a family member or a friend?? Lose all those good times y'all have or could have??

To me, it's childish. To me, it's not right. Unless this person is actually being mean or hateful, I understand but just strictly for their opinion?? No.

Can't we all learn how to have an opinion and be kind about it? Can't we all accept we all have our own, and neither opinion is right or wrong?? Can't we all just get along??

Until we do this, until we accept that everyone will be different, things will not change and we need change. We need more kindness. We need this.

The Millennial Patriot out!
